Sweet and sour tongue is a special delicacy perfect for Rosh Hashana.<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>One beef tongue<\/p>\n<p>3 Tbsp. flour<\/p>\n<p>3 Tbsp. oil<\/p>\n<p>2 cups hot (not boiling) water or tongue broth<\/p>\n<p>\u00be c. brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd Tbsp. lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc cup white raisins (optional)<\/p>\n<p>drop of ketchup<\/p>\n<p>Boil tongue for an hour. Spill off water and add fresh water. Boil at least 2.5 hours, until tender.
