This can be taken literally, that one must get very drunk, until the sharp difference between hero and villain becomes blurred. Some fulfill this obligation by sleeping, because during sleep one is unaware. There is yet another, deeper way of understanding this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s find the numerical value of both phrases in Hebrew: \u201cCursed\nis Haman\u201d and \u201cBlessed is Mordechai.\u201d&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cursed is Haman:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u05d0\u05e8\u05d5\u05e8 \u05d4\u05de\u05df:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u05d0=1 + \u05e8=200 + \u05d5=6 + \u05e8=200 + \u05d4=5 + \u05de=40 + \u05df=50 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>= 502<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blessed is Mordechai:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u05d1\u05e8\u05d5\u05da \u05de\u05e8\u05d3\u05db\u05d9:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u05d1=2 + \u05e8=200 + \u05d5=6 + \u05da=20 + &nbsp;\u05de=40 + \u05e8=200 + \u05d3=4 + \u05db=20 + =\u05d910<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>=502<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both phrases equal the\nsame amount!
