More light is my reason. \n\nLater does sun set, sun shines till seven.\nLook up at the sky, shines down from heaven.\n\nFrom where is the source? From whom came light?\nThe answer to this, it hides in plain sight,\n\nThat answer is found within the Torah.\nThe first thing God did, with the first parsha.\n\nLike Torah\u2019s first book, begins with Breishit,\nWhen we read Torah, close to God we meet.\n\nCreation Day One, divide dark and light.\nFirst there was darkness, then God made it bright.\n\nGod said \u201cLet there be light,\u201d saw light was good. \nEvening and morning, one day as it should.\n\nLight opposed dark, so darkness did limit,\nAs in Egypt, did Pharaoh prohibit.\n\nBrought darkness plague nine, while Jews stayed in light.\n\u201cLet my people go,\u201d the Jews left in flight.\n\nThis light that God made, a most special gift,\nWe learn from the Torah, each Shabbat we lift.\n\nSo my dear children, this gift go enjoy,\nTurn off the TV, put away your toys.\n\nPassover coming, more light and more sun,\nGo outside to play\u2014go play and have fun.\n\nSpringtime is here now, there\u2019s more light today,\nGo enjoy God\u2019s gift, there\u2019s light out to play.\n<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
