As soon as the Jewish people received the Torah, they rushed to put the laws into action. One of the first things they did was to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.milechai.com\/jewishcooking\/kosher-labels.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">label their food item BLUE for <em>milchigs<\/em> (dairy) and RED for <em>fleishigs<\/em> (meat)<\/a>. For example, if person had a <em>milchig<\/em> bottle of whiskey, he put on a BLUE LABEL. If he had a <em>fleishig<\/em> bottle of whiskey, he put on a RED LABEL.<\/p>\n<p>Somebody had the brilliant idea of turning the labeling process into a color war! The teams would be red\/meat vs. blue\/milk. And what a color war it was! After three days of intense competition, the judges announced that the red\/meat team won. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myjewishlearning.com\/practices\/Ritual\/Kashrut_Dietary_Laws\/Keeping_Kosher\/Waiting_Between_Meals.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">six hours later<\/a>, they said that the blue\/milk team won!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KOSHER KOLOR WAR!
