This super easy recipe from Mrs. Raizelle Serebrowski, director of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebbetzins.org\/about.html\">Oorah<\/a> Rebbetzins program, gives you a new way to add them to your menu.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Filling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>5 apples, shredded<\/li><li>3\/4 cup sugar<\/li><li>1\/2 tsp. lemon juice<\/li><li>1 tsp. cinnamon<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pastry Dough<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>3 cups flour<\/li><li>1 cup sugar<\/li><li>1tbsp. baking powder<\/li><li>dash of salt<\/li><li>3\/4 cup oil<\/li><li>1 egg, slightly beaten<\/li><li>1 tsp. vanilla<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix pastry dough ingredients in a food processor, dry ingredients first. It will have a crumbly consistency. Press 3\/4 of the dough into a 9\u00d713 pan. Spread apple filling over the dough. Sprinkle remaining pastry crumbs over the apples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake at 350 F for 30-45 minutes.
