A great recipe for the grill

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sandwich steaks
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp canola oil

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine ketchup, pineapple juice, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and canola oil.
  2. Place sandwich steak in a one-gallon Ziploc bag and pour half of the marinade over it. Marinate for four hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove the meat from the refrigerator, and allow to reach room temperature, around 30 minutes. Remove the meat from bag and throw out the remaining marinade.
  4. Grill for two to two and a half minutes per side.
  5. After taking the meat off the grill you can place the meat on wooden skewers. Brush meat with reserved marinade.
