In this week’s Torah portion, Esav and his henchmen try to kill Yaakov. This struggle is symbolic of the many nations that have tried to wipe out the Jewish people. They are long gone- but we remain stronger than ever!

First Pharaoh tried to destroy the Jews.

Why did Pharaoh like to light fires?

BECAUSE HE WAS A PHARAOH-MANIAC!

After that came the giant, Og, who went to war against the Jewish people.

Why was the giant Og arrested?

BECAUSE HE SHOP-LIFTED.

Many years later, the wicked Haman tried to exterminate the Jewish people.

What was Haman’s favorite game?

HANGMAN

Many years later, the Romans tried to kill out the Jews (getting the pattern here?)

What was the Roman emperor’s favorite food?

CAESAR SALAD!
